1996 - 75th ANNIVERSARY
As we celebrate the seventy-fifth anniversary of the
established of St. Anne's, we have seen many changes through the years, but
commitment to Catholic faith remains alive our parish and we look forward to the
future.
Presently, the parish buildings are the Church, the Annex, the Rectory, and the
school building, which now houses a chapel, some meeting rooms, education rooms,
etc. The parish, as estimated by Father Poyatt in 1989, has about 250 active
families, with probably about another fifty inactive. Present staff consists of
Father Bolcar, Father Link, Sister Joan, and Deacon Tony Como. Mrs. Mary Hing is
coordinator of Religious Education.
Present organizations and programs include the Altar & Rosary Society,
R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults), Citizens Club, and the
Bingo. Dedicated parishioners work in all of these programs.
